Johnathon, was friendly, and accommodating. If we wanted to slightly change plans he tried to help us at best he could. We had a great time. There was a great mix, of fun outdoorsy activities and amazing wildlife. It was a proper adventure. The boating trip during our first two days, was such fun. If we didn't feel like snorkeling but wanted to chill on the boat, it was fine. We were so sad to be leaving and would have loved to be staying longer. Everyone we interacting with on the tour, was friendly, helpful and really informative. Both Johnathon and our guide in Sandakan, I think he was named Ray, was really informative. Ray had a wealth of information, it was amazing. We learned so much!

A holiday in Borneo

We have recently arrived back from a holiday in Borneo. I do a lot of travelling and rarely feel motivated to give written feedback, however I would like to give some feedback on the guide we had in Sandakan. His name is Terance Bin Bukarak T Guide 5409 Green. He was fantastic. I have travelled through Asia quite a bit and use guides regularly, but he was a stand out. Not only was his knowledge outstanding, he was personable, friendly and went over and above what he had to, to make our tour as enjoyable as he possibly could. Fellow travellers we met along the way commented on our guide being exceptional. We left feeling we had gained a friend. He is an asset to the company he works for, and we wish him well in the future.

3 Days 2 Nights River Tour

I just wanted to say thank you Sandakan Borneo Tours for organising such a great trip. I wrote a glowing review on Trip adviser. Do take a look at it. Rey, our guide, was excellent. He was very organised, patient and knowledgeable. Our driver, Mr Armini, was also great too. The staff at the lodge were also very helpful and lovely. We saw some amazing animals and really enjoyed the river cruises, jungle walk - the whole programme really. The trip was well paced. We saw orangutans from the balcony of our lodge was really special. We also saw big crocs and little crocs and I was amazed to get such a good view of birds at night time. I can see Sepilok has changed a lot since we visited many years ago. It was so much more crowded than when I remembered it. The nursery was a new experience for us. Gary spotted me at Sepilok and said hello which was lovely. My daughter has a fantastic time too. Thanks once again. I will recommend. Best wishes, Bev
